Little Rock Musical Coterie

Little Rock Musical Coterie is a 122 year old group that supports regular concerts, music education, scholarships, and networking of musicians. Coterie is associated with the National Federation of Music Clubs and meets monthly to put on a free musical program for the community. Each program is uniquely designed by a different member thus, the programs range from solo to ensemble across all genres and instruments. It is truly a music club for everyone, and anyone is welcome to join Coterie.

Sheila Wallace

My name is Sheila Wallace and I’m a retired English teacher and pastor’s wife.  I grew up in Crossett but moved to Lonoke with my husband and two daughters in 1990.  I am a 1973 graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and taught seventh grade English in Cabot for twenty years.  I have been retired going on four years and have enjoyed teaching piano lessons in my home.  My hobbies are  my grandchildren, my horses, and my music.  My dream has been to play the piano at a vintage coffeehouse/antique store with lots of atmosphere.

I have been a church accompanist for many years and enjoy many styles of music.  I believe I am a much happier, productive person because of music in my life.
