MTACA wishes to support students in their pursuit of music study and has established several scholarships to provide financial support.
MTACA College Scholarship Application
One or more scholarships may be available to students who enroll in a college or university as a music major. The amount will be determined dependent upon the fund balance, the majority of which comes from the Playathon fundraiser.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Teacher must be current, active member of MTACA
- High school seniors may apply
- Major or minor in any area in the field of music
- Acceptance at a University or School of Music

MTACA Teacher-Student Scholarship
One or more scholarships may be available to teachers with students in financial need who need help in order to continue private study. The amount will be determined dependent upon the fund balance, the majority of which comes from the Playathon fundraiser.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Teacher must be a member of MTACA with current dues paid.
- Student must be currently studying with an MTACA teacher.
- Teacher may submit only one application in a given year.
- Past teacher recipients may re-apply.
Deadline for applications is June 1 (of each year).
